Eller Capital Partners is a real estate private equity firm focused exclusively on multifamily assets in growing regions of the Southeastern U.S. Since 2007, Eller has acquired and enhanced approximately $400 million worth of well-located, underperforming properties, applying a vertically integrated, value-added approach that has generated an investor net IRR of 28%.Eller Capital executes a full service, vertically integrated investment management platform that addresses all stages of the investment cycle, from acquisition to disposition. By leveraging the expertise of its leadership team, Eller maintains complete, real-time knowledge of property operations and asset value, which leads to faster decision-making and optimization of value. Eller Capital seeks to acquire assets in which it can add value, often by executing renovations, improving amenities, developing the property, or generating additional sources of income. The firm is skilled in identifying properties with underperforming characteristics that present opportunities to optimize value through physical improvements or better operational execution. To date, Eller Capital has invested in 3,500 apartment units across 22 transactions and managed renovation projects ranging from $1,000 to more than $45,000 per unit.

Meet Our Team

Jamie Kropp
Controller

Jamie Kropp is the Controller for Eller Capital Partners and its property management division for the past eight years. Mr. Kropp is responsible for directing all accounting, financial reporting and treasury functions at the company and maintains a set of policies and procedures that is consistent with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.  Mr. Kropp is also the point of contact for all the company's banking, lending and third-party tax and audit relationships.

A Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Kropp has more than twenty-five years of experience in accounting and finance including fifteen years leading the finance and technology functions at diversified, multi-unit real estate companies.  Mr. Kropp also spent four years as the North America Director of Finance for Commercial Operations at an international medical device company and four years in Audit Assurance for PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Mr. Kropp earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from North Carolina State University. Mr. Kropp is an active member of the National Multifamily Housing Council and the Urban Land Institute.
